Halloween Halloween Spooktacular & Trunk or Treat
Saturday, October 23, 2021 2-8 pm
The City of Dana Point Recreation Division is teaming up with Dana Point Police Services for two great family events on one day. Indoor activities include a Haunted House maze, games, crafts, cookie decorating, entertainment, a costume parade and treats for children. Dana Point Police Services will be holding their Trunk or Treat in the parking lot area. Come meet the Blood Hounds, Bomb Squad, K-9 Unit, Mounted Patrol, and the dedicated staff that keep Dana Point safe.
At 6:30pm we will be showing a Halloween movie on our ballfield with free hot chocolate and popcorn and candy. Refreshments available to purchase throughout the event from Tacos4Troops Food Truck and Kona Ice.

Spooky Seas
October 29-30, 2021

Come to Ocean Institute for Spooky Seas and visit the Mad Scientist Lab to make ghost bubbles and fizzing eyeballs. Travel to the Candy Lab to perform experiments on everyone’s favorite Halloween treats, and learn sailor myths, legends, and superstitions during the days of Richard Henry Dana Jr.
Meet and greet with a FINtastic mermaid from Sheroes Entertainment in our Mermaid Cove. Costumes are welcome and encouraged.

Spooky Treat Trolley

Come meet the staff from Recreation Division who will be dressed in costumes and riding on the decorated Halloween-themed trolley. The Spooky Treat Trolley will be making stops at the following park locations to distribute treats to children up to 12 years of age. Get in the SPIRIT and come dressed in Halloween costumes!

Halloween Kids Boo Cruise
October - DATES TBA 5-7 pm
Cruises every 20 minutes. This event is fun for the whole family and there will be a costume contest on every cruise! Be sure to dressed in your best Halloween attire and get there early as this is a really popular event!
$5 per person (all money raised goes directly to Special Fishies: Aquatic Freedom and Education which in turns gives it back in scholarships to the special needs children in our community).
