I had the supreme pleasure of working with Gary Macrides for the second time in June 2021. He sold my Dana Point home in 2017, which proved to be a delightful, easy and fun experience—all while earning us top dollar.
When our 93-year-old mother decided to sell her home this summer, we contacted Gary immediately. The experience, 4 years later, was identical. Our mother’s home sold in just a few days for well above the asking price. What was so special this time was Gary’s expertise—and elbow grease—to prepare and stage my Mom’s house. In just a few hours, he helped us rearrange furniture, rotate wall décor and thin out the burgeoning bookshelves. He even repaired and painted some baseboards and cut lavender and lemons from the yard to make beautiful, fresh arrangements.
In addition, he made our estate sale a tremendous success. Not only did he take care of the advertising, he brought doughnuts to the sale and spent the weekend with us to insure everything went smoothly. He also set up last minute carpet cleaning before we gave the keys to the new owners.
Gary is a true professional, a South Orange County real estate expert, and the ultimate communicator and problem solver! His knowledge, network of contacts and superior attention to detail are without parallel. He is as special to us as the two beloved homes he helped us sell.
